Situation 1.
Mrs.Bambi clearks case have to assumed following assumptions,
Central States Manufacturing Mrs. Bambis probation period is six month.
Her age was to be twenties range.
This was her first job.
Central States Manufacturing practicing OSHA Standard.
Thus Mrs. Clark was highly conscious about her expected baby. She had believed radiation of computer might badly affect her expected baby. She had frightened to work with computer. Mrs. Diane Holmes had tried to assure her by chief Safety Officer about radiation would not affect her potential offspring. Mrs. Holmes was very strict and had given only one chance to change her mind. Mrs. Clark also had refused to perform other secretarys jobs. Mrs. Holmes had no other options except suspend her for rest of the day with out pay. For suspension only the reason was Mrs. Clark refuse to do secretaries jobs.
But in this situation Mrs. Holmes must have to some counseling skills to motivate her to the job. Because these suspensions practice reflect badly for other employees minds. She could direct Mrs. Clark to Medical doctor for get advices about her believes.
And also Chief safety engineer had to check the amount of radiation of computers. There is acceptable standard is available which is authorize by World OSHA committee. He can ask from computer producers about certificate and display it to users. Though Central states manufacturing has being practicing OSHA standards Management couldnt implement OSHA culture with in employees successfully. If board of Management could be able to practicing OSHA culture following features must be include,
1. Board of Management must be support OSHA standards.
2. Employment environment must be fulfilled with OSHA supported resources.
3. Identify safety hazards and action taken to illuminate or minimize these hazards.
4. Conduct safety reviews, investigations, surveys and audits.
5. Knowledge all employees about safety hazards.
6. Conduct interviews regarding safety issues.
7. Conduct periodic inspections regarding safety hazards.
8. Conduct monthly safety meetings.
