Social Harassment
Social harassment always happen in everywhere ,especially in the workplace. There are two types of legal defination of social harassment. First, “something for something” means a person do something for someone ,and someone do something to that person too. Which is occurs when a job benefit is directly tied to an employee submitting to unwelcome sexual, for example,a supervisor promises to the employee that she or he will rise the employee position in the company or increase the wages of that employee ,the employee should have a date with him. Second, social harassment occurs when the employee is subjected to comment of social nature or unwanted sexual harassment in the workplace. There are many causes of sexual harassment in the workplace. Everyone have their own responsible to prevent his things from happen.
First of all, the first causes of sexual harassment in the workplace is sexualized environment. The social harassment always happen when the management of the workplace is not take seriously about anything that can bring social harassment . it occurs social harassment when the workplace is full of sexual joking,sexual explicit objects,viewing internet pornography and others.
Secondly, Social harassment also happened in the workplace when the un-normal feeling,example the man like to have a sex with same gender . this occurs social harassment happen to the men employee. It is more often with same sexharassment. In fact ,the report of the social harassment of men is smallest than the women.
In conclusion, employers have to alert about the worker discipline. They have to responsible to the employee and against the problems of sexual harassment in the workplace. They also should have known about harassment so,they can prevent this harassment to happen . However,everyone have their own responsible to prevent his things from happen.
