Theorist Case
The theorist that best represent my thoughts is Pestalozzi and this is because he says that learning starts from when a child is born, I do agree with that because I am a father of two and I know that from day one that my children are looking at me as a role model. Whatever I do they are watching and they are learning. Children learn from their parents. For example: children will earn certain words because the parents use those words. They are learning from the parent. The words blank pages, seen and not heard, God-like, flowers needing nurturing, innocents needing affection, vulnerable needing protection, innately good, and willful are ways that children are seen. Children are vulnerable needing protection because we the parents are the ones that protect our children no matter what age they are. I don’t think that they bring the wrong message to a child. I just simply think that these words are uses to describe these children. No wrong comes from it because they are just phrases that describe a person. For example if a child is having problem people might say, “ that child is like a flower that needs nurturing”.Children are vulnerable needing protection because we the parents are the ones that protect our children no matter what age they are.
