The Magic of Disney
Now I know I’m not the only person who can recall being little and not having a care in the world. It doesn’t seem like time flies but as the years go by you look back and think, “Man did I grow up too fast.” As a child you usually have one certain thing that you love with all your heart and will never stop loving. Disney has been a huge part of my life and I will continue to be a huge fan of it. The thing I love the most about Disney is their ice skating shows. Disney on Ice not only gives you a chance to relive your childhood, it brings you together with the people you love most and experience a magical event.
Disney has produced over 500 movies and continues to make outstanding, exciting movies today. Some of my personal favorites today would have to be Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and The Beast. Disney On Ice is a touring ice show produced by Feld Entertainment under agreement with The Walt Disney Company. Aimed primarily at children, the shows feature figure skaters dressed as Disney cartoon characters in performances that each derive their music and plot from elements collected from various Disney films. The productions began in 1981, under the name “Walt Disneys World on Ice”. The name was changed to “Disney on Ice” in 1998. he shows have played all over the world, including the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia, Australia and Europe.
Now that you know a little bit about what Disney on Ice is and when it came about, start thinking about when you should plan a trip to see the show! There are reasons as to why you must attend an ice show and experience the greatness in person at a minimum of one time. Firstly, it gives a chance to get the family together and bond. Family is a very important factor in my life and I always say family comes first. Today I feel as if families don’t spend enough time together and never get a chance to do something enjoyable. With just a little bit of planning you can plan a trip, set the date, and then enjoy some family time while watching a well put together performance with beautiful colors, music, and routines.
