MONOLOGUEVirginia:Okay this is it, today is the day that, I,                               Virginia Brown will proclaim my love for *deep breath* Damon Mcall. The footy captain, the straight a’s nerd, he’s everything I ever dreamed of. Everything must be PERFECT! For this special, special day. Which means, I must speak loudly and DEFINITELY NOT mumble my words. And whatever I do, I will not chicken out. Oooft, my my he is looking mighty fine this morning. With his hair pulled back into that adorable man bun. Okay he’s by himself, perfect. Okay V just strut over there with full confidence, you can do this! WAIT! I didn’t check my hair! Or my breath! What if my hair looks like a birds nest?! Or my breath smells like rotten egg?! Should I do this? If I do, it could turn out two ways, one being I get tortured for the rest of my existence, another being I get to actually date my love. Oh how I would love to be the lioness of his jungle. We’d be the hottest, cutest and most definitely the smartest couple in school. But if he rejected me could I really survive the next 2 years of high school being laughed at and tormented by everyone? Maybe its just for the best if I just forget about Damon, forget about the 1% chance of me and him being together. I mean look at me. He would never ever think of me as someone other than the girl who sits behind him in physics who gave him a pen in year 7. Which, just to clarify, was a pretty A-MA-ZING moment. I’ll find someone someday, who likes me for me. Oooh! Cute guy alert! I hope he’s in my math class!
