Throughout the course of this year we have studied synthesis, the composition or combination of parts or element so as to form a whole. There are three works in particular that reflects my understanding of the word вЂ?synthesis.’ The three works discussed in this paper include the short story, “The Rocking-Horse Winner” D.H.
