As to how Concepcion Blaylock reached her goals and succeeded, its no ordinary effort and perseverance. Shed been frugal which is a dominant trait of Filipinos. Before she started her entrepreneurial journey, she first valued humility, a known character in a Filipino home, more especially outside. It is naturally instilled in us Filipinos for we are traditionally raised suchlike. She paid her grandparents who helped her by not disappointing them and by being a focused and composed individual. Time came when she got married. Being a principled woman made her a wise one to choose to get separated from her irresponsible husband and raise her child on her own. Then after that, on the way to her golden goal, she used her thinking and did it gumptiously. She did well having partnerships and made right decisions. She didnt settle and aimed for more; she persevered studying again and even finished a doctorate degree. As she held success in both hands, she still remained considerate and kind to her employees. Above all, after when things youve got vanished, being humble is something that will give you contentment. And even if she had established a fruitful company, she stayed humble and thats what matters.
What shed done seems impossible but she did it anyway. The sole fact that she dealt with work and family at the same time is no joke. Sometimes, people tend to sacrifice one to pursue the other. And a Filipino doesnt just neglect family and family values. Theyre actually supposed to be the main reason why shes still making it in the business. And thats what kept her on top for all those years.
