In general, the definition of a crime is an act punishable by law, usually considered an evil act. Crime refers to many types of misconduct forbidden by law. Crimes include such things as murder, stealing a car, resisting arrest, possession or dealing of illegal drugs, drunk driving, and bank robbery. Crime is an act that has been timeless and committed practically since the start of time.
“Daddy, when are you going to buy a new car?” I asked my father, looking at my old car.
“Very soon”, my dad said.
It was a Monday morning, and I was having summer vacation. My dad took out his cheque book and wrote something on it. I asked him what was he writing. He told me that he was going to the bank for cash to buy a new car. I asked him if I could also go with him. Initially, he disagreed and then allowed me to accompany him.
We reached the bank and my dad presented his cheque to the cashier for its encashment. I was sitting and waiting for my dad to come. All of a sudden, a group of people entered into the bank. One of them went directly to the cash counter and gave a chit to the cashier. The cashier lost his senses while the other members of that group took up their arms and started looting the customers on gun point. I tried to be patient and ran out of the bank and called the police from my cell phone to come to the spot and arrest the robbers. So it did. It reached the bank, but by that time, the robbers tried to escape. One of the police officers noted the cars registration number and gave orders to the other police personnel to follow the car and catch the robbers. The other day, I read in the newspapers about the incident of that robbery with all praises for the police party who managed to catch the gang after a long chase and encounter of an hour!
