The Definition of Learning Organization
Introduction
This essay presents an integrated model of the learning organization from four distinct individual aspects– learning at work; organizational learning; developing a learning climate; and creating learning structures. Then it is going to explain how to combine knowledge management and leadership into learning organizations. It will divide into three areas to discuss this topic: learning organization, knowledge management, and leadership, to gain some knowledge from these areas. First, the four aspects of the learning organization will be presented, together with some necessary extensions. Second, the purpose of knowledge management is to integrate personal and organizational knowledge at all times in order to cope with environmental changes both within and outside the organization, to solve existing problems as well as to innovate for organization expansion. It can help the employees to solve the problems in organizations by their own knowledge. In addition, a leader is an important role in a company, if a leader can not manage the employees well, the company will not be effective as they operate their knowledge management.
The definition of learning organization
The concept of the learning organization does not have clear definition. The ambiguous can be understood in different ways, for the term ambiguous can have a positive and a negative meaning. In this article, the learning organization should be have four perspectives which are: learning at work; organizational learning; developing a learning climate; and creating learning structures.
