We always say “the grass is greener on the other side” meaning wherever you go outside your home country, that place is special. So whenever you are in doubt to where you would like to travel, then New Zeeland is the country that you should go to!New Zeeland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Personally, I chose New Zeeland out of all countries because it’s a special country in its beauty . Other than that, New Zeeland is my dream country and actually it is an island. I love islands because you feel free and unattached.I have done thorough and extensive research about this island and I am very excited to mention them for you.A. First, I will describe about the geographical living in New ZeelandB. Second, I will examine the life style, culture, values, and normsC. Third, I will discuss about the diverse most traditional foods in New Zeeland that you should try.II. BodyA. As mentioned before, New Zeeland is an island, but what I haven’t mentioned is that it is a home for two islands; North and South Island. And for those who have no idea where New Zeeland is, it is located southeast to Australia and is surrounded with the Pacific Ocean.1.Although New Zeeland is an island, that doesn’t mean that it is as small as Lebanon: a.New Zeeland’s capital is Wellington. New Zeeland has a total area of 268,838 sq km which is at least 25  times bigger than Lebanon and nearly as the size of Colorado. (CIA, 2015)b.New Zeeland is mountacious with large coastal lines. New Zeeland’s highest point is Aoraki-Mount Cook which is 3.7 km above sea level in Altitude. The country has a regulare temperature yet sharp changes across regional areas. (CIA, 2015)2.New Zeeland has a lot of greenerya.According to the Central Intelligence Agency, New Zeeland is composed of three types of land ; Forests, agriculture, and others. Agricultural takes up around 43% of New Zeeland’s total area, forests takes up 31% of the total area, and the rest 25%. So we might be able to say that greenery is mostly present and dominant in New Zeeland with a percentage of 74 of its total area. (2011)b.Although New Zeeland has alot of greenery, it is volotile to volcanic eruptions and mild unfrequent earthquakes (Donald, 2005). Some of its most famous scenery are the Emerald Lakes, Lake Gunn, and Pencarrow Head.
So, now you can get an A if you ever get an exam on New Zeeland’s geography since now you know more about it. Now let us move on to the next phase; the lifestyle to New Zeelanders.B. The life style of New Zeelanders is of a unique way.1.New Zeeland has well-built economya.Having a population of more than 4.4 Million, it has a high individual income and a GDP of $36,000 (Jeffrey, 2007).b.New Zeeland focuses alot about its own local products since it depends mostly on international trade. New Zeeland exports the most to Australia, Japan, USA, and much more (Jeffrey, 2007). So we can say that New Zeeland has a sufficiency in trade balance.2.New Zeeland is diverse in culturea.With english being the most fluent language in New Zeeland, it is open to many different cultures, ethnic groups, as well as religion. When you go to New Zeeland, the chances of seeing a middle eastern there is 1.1%, while the chances of seeing someone from europe is 71% (CIA, 2013).3.New Zeelanders are famous with their warm welcome and hospitality so you don’t have to worry for not blending in with them. They will consider you one of them the moment you step there. New Zeeland takes care of its imagery and its hygiene, the island is very clean and beautiful which makes it perfect for one to live there. New Zeeland is very safe and secure that keeps your mind and gut feelings at ease, being safe and secure, it is family friendly as well with a balanced lifestyle. Amazing isn’t it!? Till now I mentioned about the geography and life style in New Zeeland. Now we transfer to the pleasure of our heart through our stomach.C.  New Zeeland has many savory and divine types of food. 1.One of the best experience living in New Zeeland is the types of food that you eat and that are recommended for you to eat. New Zeeland serves all kinds of food from Lamb to seafood to candy.One of the most famous and iconic deserts that New Zeeland serves is called a Pavlova (McDonough, 2002). Pavlova is so exotic that it has an assortment of fruits especially kiwi and strawberries making it very colorful to your eyes and experience new taste buds with the meringue based desert.
