The Texas Constitution Vs. the Us Constitution
The constitution of Texas is very similar to the constitution of the United States of America, but though the two have a lot of similarities they still do have a few differences. A lot of things the Texas constitution’s share with the United States constitutions are really similar but not exactly the same .
One similarity that both the constitution of Texas and the constitution of the United States of America has, they both contain a Bill of rights. A bill of rights is a formal summary of the rights and liberties considered essential to a person or a group of people. Both constitutions also protect everyone’s individual rights, Individual rights refer to the liberties of each individual to pursue life and goals without interference from other individuals or the government. Examples of individual rights include the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as stated in the constitution of Texas and the constitution of the United States of America. Something else both constitutions shared is they both have three branches of government and the powers are limited for each branch.
