My Autobiography

Hello, my name is Diva Saavedra. I am 31 years old. I moved to the United States from Colombia almost fifteen years ago. I went to Passaic High school for three years but my senior year I went back to Colombia and graduated there in 1996. Then I moved back to United States and lived with my mother, sister and brother in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I was trying to go to College but my mother was divorced and the mother of two kids and I needed to help her. I was working for more than 8 years at Money Transfer Company. My employer decided to relocate to Florida. So I moved to Florida with my whole family. Last year I decided to start a new career in Massage Therapy. I was working and studying full time as well as being a single mother. I graduated with a 3.97 GPA! I was very proud of myself. It wasn’t easy but I did it.
Life to me means family, which is the reason I moved to Texas last year. I am the proud mother of one child who has been the center of my universe since the first day he was born. My son is from my first marriage. I also have a 13 years old stepdaughter who is very sweet. I am the wife of a wonderful American man named Richie who is 42 years old, he has been and engineer for many years at the same company. We have one dog — Daisy, she is my companion during my days at home. My favorite hobby is watching TV. My husband and I met online in December of 2006. We started flying back and forth for one year and finally we decided that I should to move to Texas. So after I finished school I moved to Texas and we were married on February 2nd of this year.
The changes that happened to me from one state to another were huge, I told my husband that I want to go back to school again and have my BA in Health Science and he is supporting me. This is my first time taking
