Corporate Culture
Bob Carlton has been perplexed with his sell manager Galen McDowell’s sales methods. I think that Galen’s approach to selling is wrong and discriminatory. If Bob wants to salvage OptiMotors Industries, he has to have a clear understanding the relationship between sales and corporate culture. First, according to establish corporate’s culture to guide and constraint employee behaviors. Second, how articulate companies core value to customers through the sales process. Third, the role of female workers constructs the enterprise cultural.
As we all know, corporate culture is an indispensable part of the company, excellent corporate culture can create a good business environment. Good corporate culture can improve employees cultural awareness and ethical standards, can form internal cohesion, solidarity and binding, forming an integral part of enterprise development, spiritual strength and moral, to enable businesses to have a positive effect, so that enterprises rational allocation of resources, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises. We can see from the article that OptiMotors Industries’ success key was word of mouth and quality. However, Galen’s sales tactic is opposite with company’s core culture. He relies on male bonding to make sales. It is recommended that Bob should explicitly articulate those principles for his company, through the outline to guide and constrain the behavior of employees. [Exhibit 1]
We believe that the consumer is most annoying brand of words and deeds, like we hate words and deeds of people. The most important things a client tries to discover in a sales process is whether the seller shares his or her core value system. So, company’s core values must lead corporate marketing and promotional activities for all. Any time activities, such as product development, advertising, channel strategy, promotional or display terminal to the streets even with the customer contracts, etc. Any time the opportunity to communicate with the public; have to go to the interpretation of the brands core values. There is no doubt about Galent’s sales management is discriminatory female. In todays society, in business activities, male and female workers are equally important status and role. While women have a natural advantage, their language skills, the ability to imitate, performing arts capabilities are better than men. So, effective use of female workers’ superiority in the business and cultural activities, not only enhance the quality of enterprise management, but also on encouraging entrepreneurship.
