Josh went with his new media project straight to the CEO Sam who offer him a speech during the Friday meeting.

ISSUESThe main issue in the presented case is the lack of communication between the manager and employee. Josh did not try to present his new media ideas to Sarah before the first meeting. He just criticized her plan in front of the group and didn’t even try to convince her to his ideas, which were not precise. On the other side, one of many managers role is a communication and Sarah did not communicate with her team members well. She did not read Josh report, just wrote him back “Great job! You are the best” even she knew it’s sketchy and not well done. She didn’t invest the time.
