Firstly, low carbohydrate diet breaks the food pyramid. On the other hand, low fat diet follows the food pyramid. Besides that, low carbohydrate diet limits a person to eat foods that are high in carbohydrates such as pasta, rice, etc. which contain proteins and fats. It also used as treatment for diabetes, epilepsy and chronic fatigue syndrome. But, low fat diet limits a person to eat foods that are high in fat such as meat, milk, etc. to supply energy and needed for good health. Also, it lowers risk of heart disease and stroke.
Secondly, both diets are usually safe to treat obesity and is related our food intake and each method is a good tool for weight loss. In addition, based on research, they have found that each of the diets accomplishes the same results. Thus, it can prevent a lot of diseases that can harm our body.
In conclusion, low carbohydrate diet and low fat diet can both help to maintaining healthy weight as long as we choose your our foods wisely.
