Park: Clove Lakes
Where is it? How do you get there? (Bus, drive)
Clove Lakes Park is located at 1150 Clove Rd, Staten Island, NY 10301. You can drive there and take public transportation, buses, such as the S61, S66, S62 and S53
What kind of people are around you? Who lives there?
You can find anyone and everyone at this park. From the elderly to young kids of all ethnicities. Also a lot of athletes from local high schools and colleges getting their workout in. On the Saturday I went I didn’t realize that there was going to be a cross country meet going on as I was evaluating the park. So the park was full of almost all the high schools on Staten Island, private and public.
Is there a business present?
There is a Walgreens on the corner of Clove Rd and Victory Blvd. Also a Subways, Dunkin Donuts, Deli, a gas station and if you go a little further down Clove Rd and make a turn on Broadway
What services are held there? What’s happening?
On the day I went there a cross country meet going on. And also a bunch of individuals who were not participating in the race running and getting their personal workout in.
Do they have regular activities and/or seasonal?
There are XC meets held there a lot. Also

To have a special event at a park there is a fee. The info can be found
What does it look like? What condition is the park in? Is it clean? Well kept?
This is one of this main walking areas in the park. Right by the flag poll is where most of the cross country races start and end. The park itself is free from garbage. I didn’t notice any garbage on the ground and there were multiple recycling bins and trash cans around.
Who takes care of the park? How?
I went to a gentleman in the park whom worked at the park to ask him a few questions and he would not give me any answers or anything would just walk away from me. So I’m just gathering it is part of his job to take
