In the journal entry Ground Zero by Vincent Druding, I think it was about how one man show how one as a citizen had come together because of a tragedy to help others. Druding in one of his quotes “I often wondered how many of the men on those trucks died just minutes later.” What he is talks about here is when he was walking away form the towers and he wanted to get away form the incident. He saw these firemen go in to help and he knew that most did not come out alive. This was because they should up and help there fellow citizen when in need. This made Druding think about how maybe he should try to help out his fellow human. This led him to taking 4 days off of work and pretty much living at the camp site. He said that he did not do much but take medicine back and forth but it was helping in some little way. This made him think about his life. When he stared to think about how many people died in the incident and felt bad and tried to help for what he could. But what he really thought about was how many people tried to help there fellow citizen when it came down to it. When people needed to be saved fire fitters were right there ready to die for the need of someone else. This changed the way that Druding thought about people and his fellow citizen.
