Analysis of the Guidance Program:
The Guidance Program of the three schools is divided into two categories: the student development program and human resource.
I. Student Development Program
The projects within this program are directly centered on the development of the students or child.
Program: Orientation
Orientation is a key part of any guidance program, whether it is for elementary or high school. This is one of the first, if not the earliest project they have to produce.
Target People: Freshman Student
Orientation should not be just centered on freshmen students. It should also be given to new recruits to that school who just need as much adjustment as the others.
Objectives: To assess the student for the adjustment in new school setting.
This should really be the key purpose of an orientation.
Activities: Orientation for Freshman Students
They could include games and activities within that orientation for the school to appear not entirely centered on school policies alone. This is to make the students feel more welcome.
Person Involved: – Guidance Counselor and Freshman Students
During orientation, we believe its key that every member of the faculty is there for proper introduction, as well as administration officers.
Time Frame: June
Orientation should really be done at the first week of school.
Budget: 10,000
The money is sufficient to address the financial aspect of the program.
Success Indicator: Freshman Student will orient to the school policy.
Aside from this, the students should also feel a sense of luck for getting to the school where they at.
Program: Mental Ability Test
Mental Ability Test should be a key part of any guidance program, whether it is for elementary or high school. The implementation of such a program establishes the school as an institution who recognizes the individuality of the students.
Target People: Grades 3-6 and High School
This should really be administered every year to see how much progress the student achieved.
Objectives: To measure the mental ability level of each student.
This should really be the key purpose of a mental ability test
Activities: Group test.
Person Involved: – Guidance Counselor and Students
Time Frame: July-December
If this could be done at the earlier part of the school, it should be done that way.
Budget: 50,000
The money is sufficient to address the financial aspect of the program.
Success Indicator: Students from each department will be asked to take the test.
Each and every student of the school should be given this test, with the results properly evaluated.
Program: PNLT (Purdue Non-language Test)
PNLT should be a key part of any guidance program, whether it is for elementary or high school. The implementation of such a program establishes the school as an institution who recognizes the individuality of the students.
Target People: Pre-School, Elementary and High School
This should really be administered every year to see how much progress the students achieved.
Objectives: To measure the mental ability level of each student.
This should really be the key purpose of a mental ability test
Activities: Group test.

If this could be done at the earlier part of the school, it should be done that way.

This should really be the key purpose of a CDT.
Activities: Group test.
