Googles Case
Abstract
Every organization has an organizational structure to which determine the overall productivity of that organization. There is various ways to evaluate whether an institution is well equipped to accommodate its employer and create an environment well-structured in which work is divided, grouped and coordinated. The way certain organizational are designed usually have a great impact on not only the leadership but also on its members and all behaviors associated. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate Googles corporate values and goals concerning employees, customers, and the business combine to create job satisfaction and motivate the people who work there, and answer the question whether that model should be followed or mimic.
INTRODUCTION
Corporate culture has been in recent memories the cornerstone of any successful organization which defines as a set of values, beliefs, goals, norms that binds everyone from top managers to the lower employee. A clear organizational culture can drive employee efforts to max or diminish what the organization stood for. Although some may say corporate culture is a broad and widely used concept, but for others the universal acceptance of a culture represent strong values.
GOOGLES VALUES AND GOALS
Googles is a top notch organization voted the number one place to work for numerous times recently as 2012. “The reason: Employees rave about their mission, the culture, and the famous perks of the Plex: bocce courts, a bowling alley, eyebrow shaping (for a fee) in the New York office. Then theres the food: some 25 cafes companywide, all gratis” (google.com). Google ensure that its entire employee takes pride in their work and it all starts with a simple principle of respecting any diversity. Google was founded by two college student with a simple goal, making important information easily accessible and available. Google efforts to care for its employees are well documented, in returns the output from those employees are beyond reproach, especially with the amount of traffic the website gets on a daily basis.
At google, the company develops its own unique culture in which all employees and employer are able to represent themselves freely and collectively. At google everyone is important and everyone idea can and will be heard, everyone can contribute and the set up at google encourage such actions. Google believes in ten things all respectively with the same end state exceeding the barrier of global search engine.
