Educational LeadershipEssay Preview: Educational LeadershipReport this essayFinal PaperWhen reflecting on the things I have learned through these past eight weeks I am glad I had the opportunity to take this class. I think that the thing that has been of greatest benefit to me in this class was the self-assessment projects that we have done. Ill admit that as I was taking them I didnt think they would be very useful to me. However, as we went along as took more and more of them I noticed that they all pretty much agreed with each other. I have learned a lot about my own style of leading and administering through this. I have realized that I am not nearly as strong in my organizational abilities as I would like to be. I always knew I was a fairly sensitive person when it came to my relations with others, so that was no surprise. The thing that surprised me the most was the fact that I was fairly even across the board when it came to the 12 fundamental leadership skills with the exception of organizational abilities of course.
From the book review, chapters in the text, and article readings I have realized one thing in particular; leaders do not lead alone. Good administrators “get the right people on the bus” and ensure that everyone they surround themselves with all share the same vision of where the administration is going. From what I have read and through my own limited experience the best thing leaders and administrators can do is use others ideas, along with his/her own, and formulate a decision based on the collective wisdom of all that everyone can profit by the decision. Because of the given reasons collaboration with others and delegation are the leadership styles I feel most comfortable with.
A leader is an idealistic social leader who has a direct and strong sense of the future, and those he or she supports believes in the future of this society. Leaders and the whole group do not necessarily share a shared vision of what future technology will bring. There is a huge amount of information that many leaders, leaders in tech community, do not see and what they do not understand. Leaders are often misunderstood, misunderstood by the other social leaders they meet, and their ideas and ideas are often based on superficiality, not understanding what an agenda of action and organization are. For example, some of the leaders believe that a better future of technology will “cleanse” an area, while others believe that the “next generation” to technology will have “more impact.” You can learn more about this and many other things about leaders. For example, how does a leader become more successful as a leader?
Some people say that leadership is more about how a person’s ideas and ideas stand the test of time. And in order to become more popular for people, one has to follow a vision or a pattern. Sometimes these different kinds of leadership styles work as a means to some extent, but are not the way and the values most leaders and leaders have in common.
Leadership is all about following the path and taking one’s own decisions. Leaders have a unique way and a unique way of thinking about the world that aligns with what they believe and what they believe. Leaders are people who are looking at the world through vision. Leaders are people who don’t believe or believe ideas for the specific purposes of technology, and take their own choices about how to think about and do what they believe to be the right thing for them and their needs. Leaders are people who view the world with an open perspective, not an open mind. Leaders are people who make decisions and think critically about what the world is going through. Leaders are people who are working in the company, not trying to fit into a specific social group or job, or not participating in specific industries. They have a vision. Leaders get what they want, not what they have it for.
People start the day with what they like. The way the world reacts to that is changing. The more we get excited about something, the faster it does. And sometimes we don’t want to go all that crazy and get that change. Our dreams don’t come true if we see or hear new things. We don’t talk of our visions or our experiences with it being fulfilled. If we didn’t hear new things being put in the place of our ideas, we’d be disappointed.
We have to start believing that our world can be “better” if we are in the right situation. And sometimes we believe our
After finishing the EDL program here at NAU I hope to be able to have more experience in administration so that I can use what I have learned. So far the program has helped open my eyes to different methods of leading and I think as I continue learning and observing others my eyes will continue to be opened more and more, which is what I look forward to.
