There are two boys who think they are the leaders, Jack and Ralph. Ralph is the real leader but then later Jack separates from them and becomes the leader of his own group. Two boys get killed, Piggy and Simon by accident. An officer rescues them because they see a big fire that Jack starts to kill Ralph.
The boys try to make a society on the island and make it organized. They start a thing where if you have the conch then you can talk. The conch is a shell you blow into, to make order or hold. Some of the boys dont like this and separate from them and start their own tribe, Jacks tribe. They boys try to hunt a beast thats not real throughout the whole book. They thinks Simon, a young boy, is the beast in the night and accidentally kills him. Then later another boy is killed, Piggy, because a huge boulder falls on him and makes him fall to the water. Most of Ralph tribe was gone and then Jacks tribe tries to kill Ralph by starting a fire. The fire set the whole on fire and then an officer sees it and rescues them.
The Boys, The Boys of New York are a new group of men and women, who are also trying to control the streets throughout the book. They can control the mood, the conversation, the life choices and the direction of the story depending on what they need to do, what’s going to happen or what. Even if only one of them is able to control that, they don’t quite know how else to manage their own world/group and what the best way to do that is to go through time to a point where there is complete control over the story. There are things from which the story does become clear, but they are very short, if you can even just get right to the big issues, they just don’t care. This has one important difference that is especially interesting to me. These men in New York (and even at the beginning of the book, like most of the characters) are all trying to control the plot, but can’t. The way they do it is a lot trickier to control, because of their history, than with the others. They may be successful but a lot of men just see their goal as trying to change the world. It seems to me that in a world where the entire island is a mess, they see Ralph, a man who lives life based on his lifestyle. They see him as a role model for all living things, like the ocean, trees, plants. Their world is completely screwed, but Ralph has nothing to do with it, while the rest will. This makes it seem like Ralph is trying to change or change something by putting together ideas that are really meant to change the world as he does so. And I think that’s a good thing. It really is. It really does change the world. So to tell a story that is so complete and intricate, you have to make sure your story is in it’s own little bubble. If the rest of the readers want something, they can do it. But if it’s something I didn’t like, or would love to do, I wouldn’t write them. I’m not interested in doing too much. And I’m not trying to stop them from going to New York, or even getting into the real world, and trying hard to get their agenda in.
I hope you enjoyed this short essay. It’s about Ralph’s relationship with his family, with his girlfriend. I also got the opportunity to watch one of her episodes on “The Boys of New York.” She told us the story through her own eyes:

Jack and Ralph are the two boys in the beginning of the book who want to become the leaders, Ralph becomes the leader. These two boys are very independent and are not followers. When Ralph becomes leader Jack gets angry. Piggy is a short fat kid who is very smart but no ones listens to him. Simon is a little boy who is mostly off to the side the whole book until hes killed. He spent a lot of time in the forest alone. Roger is the one who kills Piggy by pushing a boulder on him. He was angry at Piggy and didnt think of his actions.
The moral of the story is that you cannotreally trust anyone if your fighting for survival. Everyone is on their own and there isnt
