SummaryThis story is about King Lear and his three daughters. One day, King Lear decided to give out his land and wealth to his three daughters, based on how the daughters loved him. The two elder sisters, Goneril and Regan , said a lot of sweet words to show their love, while the younger sister, Cordelia, did not want to say those unreal and exaggerated words. Therefore, the king did not give the Cordelia anything and disowned her as daughter.After the two elder sisters got the kings wealth, they became rude to their father and wanted to weaken the kings power. The king was so sad that his two daughters only want his wealth but did not care about him. When Cordelia realized what her two sisters did, she helped his father to regain power. However, she was killed accidentally at the end.Favorite characterMy favorite character is Cordelia. She was brave and she loved her father. Unlike her two sisters, she loved her father and that she did not have to say a lot of exaggerated and unreal words to satisfy her father. When the King was in trouble, she helped her father immediately even her father was rude and did not take care about her feeling before.EndingIf I can change the ending, I hope that Cordelia will not die at the end of the story. My ending will be that Cordelia successfully helped her father and then the king finally realized who is really loving him, and so the king can live happily together with Cordelia. While for the two evil sisters, i hope they will also realize that they did wrong and apologize to King Lear and Cordelia.
