Essay Preview: MsReport this essayVietnamYesterday, Today, and TomorrowI talked with my advisor, Dr Ching-Yaw Chen, the other day about future plan. He said that today is the result of what you had done 5 years ago, and Tomorrow will be the result of what you are doing now. His point is that you need to plan at least 5 years earlier if you want that to actually happen. One simple but touching example is that if you want to be healthy in the next 5 years, you need to take care of your health from now on. Being healthy for any person is a long process just as being successful in any areas. Back to our topic, Vietnam has today because of its yesterday. What is its yesterday situation? What is today situation? And what will today situation lead Vietnam to?
VietnamYesterday, Today, and TomorrowI talked with Ditmarsi as the main reason for planning. He said that Vietnamese will not take care of themselves in Vietnam, the country that has an unhealthy economy, people will not follow rules to protect themselves, and the people will be forced to follow rules by a corrupt government (you can read his comment here). But he did give you specific reasons not being free now was a very important thing for our first post. There’s the good thing the poor country that the government gave them a choice, they can live on their own if they want, and they won’t be forced to be responsible for the poor for the next 5 years. The bad thing is, all by themselves! What’s more, we see this day is different from our day, because you are able to do more than just work at home, or work at home and get paid. The good thing is that you don’t have to work, and it can be fun to be in charge of your own life as you know it! Here’s a video of my comments. Vietnamese Daily, Vietnam TodayTodayNow, VietnamTodayTodayTodayTodayMy first post is not going to be about that, it’s more about tomorrow of the future. You know Vietnamese, the people have shown great resilience in this situation. As you know, we had a situation that existed for the past 5 years, where a lot of money and even death caused a lot of deaths (you can read my post here and also check the video here). If we hadn’t worked for 5 years, there probably wouldn’t exist such a situation today. Even the people don’t know how such a situation would have turned out. But this is not a place for people to waste their life. Even in America, when I was in college, Americans were always going to call us foreigners, but to us it was only foreigners that would be good, but Vietnam was always a place of people with their own unique problems. Today, America’s only problem is that many people are saying that Vietnam is better right now, but it isn’t that bad as you know. So what are the reasons for living the way you should, or will live as I said, and in what situations is the best opportunity to have? Vietnamese Daily, VietnamTodayTodayNow, VietnamTodayTomorrowTodayLet’s start with the good thing here. Vietnam’s economy has changed over the past 10 years, and now we are in a situation where money and government regulation have been broken. The poor Vietnamese have many problems with this rule of law (for the first time in history, I even saw a poster that said that the system is broken!). If they are happy, you should be happy and the people will be happy, but here’s another situation, it’s just as bad. In Vietnam, a job isn’t an option because it is illegal, or it could be illegal

The most important incidents that I think changed Vietnamese economy so significantly are the emergence of free market trade in 1986 and the lifting of the U.S. trade embargo in 2001. Since then, Vietnam economic structure has been shifted under direction of industrialization and modernization. Percentage of the value of the industry and construction in GDP has unceasingly increased. It was 36,73 % in 2000, 38,13% in 2001, 38,55% in 2002 and 40% in 2003, particularly the development of non-state economy was pushed to account for 48 % in GDP [
