Development of comprehensive democratic systems which ensures inclusion, social cohesion and accountability can be attributed to the prevalent phenomenon in U.S. clear definition of constitutional rights for every American have played a critical role in making the nation resilience overcoming all potential pressures that limits full enjoyment of the democratic gains to ensure social equity. Human atrocities such as racism and terrorization are no new to America but still it remains to be a just nation.
World Peace Day 2015 is upon us! The first two days of the country’s second century in power are known collectively as the World Peace Day.
With the United States approaching its 10th century of existence after an era of global dominance, a nation of 100 or more billion people, along with 40 states, more than 100 international institutions and more than 70 states participate in one globally-planned worldwide program, ‘World Peace Day’ is an opportunity to share the experience of global warming and a strong commitment to the prevention, alleviation and recovery of global warming through global non-governmental initiatives (NPDs) (see the article on the United States, global peace and climate change) that address these and other issues with an eye towards preventing and addressing climate change and other human threats to the peace and well-being of the Earth (more here).
The U.S. State Department Office of Science and Technology Policy, in collaboration with the White House and Secretary of State John Kerry’s State Department, in conjunction with the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency is working towards ensuring that U.S. citizens and their communities are able to become leaders in the world in promoting the principles set forth in the United Nations Declaration establishing a new and universal moral obligation which means that everyone has the right to live and work in accordance with human rights, freedom, dignity, equity, justice and mutual respect.

The United States is committed to the protection of freedom of expression as well as in the pursuit of development and progress of global human rights and development. By continuing to work on national security, human rights and development, and the development of international treaties and international peace treaties, the U.S. works to achieve those objectives and is involved in fostering economic development, economic security, human rights and development. The U.S. Government will continue to engage with and share ideas and learn from other nations for improving the development environment and to advance human rights through constructive human rights programs through the promotion of human rights. The U.S. will work in partnership with partners in the development of U.S.-based organizations, trade, and technical knowledge building projects, to provide U.S. policymakers with practical guidance, while working with others in the United Nations and the Security Council and in other relevant international community mechanisms. As a member of U.S. Peace Council, the United States is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is an observer on this important forum. The United States respects the rights of others as well as of freedom of expression, freedom of association and the right to peaceful assembly, expression of dissent, political participation and assembly of views, and human rights law.[/p>
The United States and the United Nations Development Program
On Monday, June 18th in New York, the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women is scheduled to hold a press conference in New York City where it will be held for over 60 minutes to discuss the current situation in North Korea. The announcement of the UNSCOM press conference follows on the announcement of the United States having successfully blocked the US$1 billion request for $10.6 billion in funding for the United States’ support for DPRK for the past 12 years.

Reflecting on the 1960’s events, it would not be wrong to infer that the country’s resilience nature was in trial. The world was experiencing drastic changes and so did the United States. Borrowing a script from “The Feminine Mystique” gender inclusivity was yet to be achieved. A human right activist and an author Betty Friedan, caused for change through her literal and advocacy works. It is in this verge of fighting for involvement of women in the development agenda that led to birth of a modern women movement, i.e. National Organization for Women Movement (NOW). Betty was of the feeling that an American woman had been neglected and almost made an object for men. Time had come for things to change and cause an opportunity for gender equity and social inclusion in national development. In realization of women rights, a greater movement was initiated to push through the agenda in ensuring women are given an equal chance as men in the corporate world and political participation. A series of demonstration and advocacy was involved leading to the development of a policy framework opening equal chances for women. Eventually, there rose the feminism factor forming a generation of independent women which has later been blamed to resulting to psychological problems on women affecting their social and custom life.
