People mostly gone through the situation of sadness, usually in the short period of time but when became the persistent feeling for the individual then it affects both physical and mental states. According to the Medical dictionary depression refers to a mental state or chronic disorder such as feelings of loneliness, sadness, low self esteem, self reproach, despair, withdrawal from the social contact and loss of appetite and insomnia (Stedmans Medical Dictionary, 2006). Generally sadness is the common phenomenon for the human being but when it reaches at the extreme state than it is called depression.
