His father, Alfred, was a merchant seamen so he was away a great deal and Julia, his mother, was very free spirited and was the main source for some of Johns entertaining personality. Because of Julias personality it was decided that Mimi, her much more strict sister, would raise John with her husband George. John was not abandoned by his mother, as some believe, she frequently visited him, but it was Mimi that raised him.
The Beatles’ last recorded appearance was in 1964, in a John Lennon biopic, The Last Of Us, about the Beatles starring John Lennon and George Harrison as the Beatles’ “family.” It’s unclear why the movie was made in 1963, but it was released in the summer of 1964, with both audiences, including people involved with the band, saying it was “one of the great Beatles stories ever filmed and recorded”.
On 11 November 1964, the Associated Press reported on a story in which George Harrison, the Beatles’ most influential and beloved man, said he would give up his own life for Lennon’s. The news, which also had some major news sources, was eventually published and John went to live with his “youngest member of the Beatles family,” John Lennon. It was the final day of George’s life. An earlier news account described the scene as “one of the greatest and most famous Beatles stories ever shot”.
In June of 1990, The Post reported that a second Lennon biopic, A Beatles Life, was to go into production in the coming months, alongside John-related film releases by David Lynch and Steven Spielberg. The first One More Saturday Night? film is set to be released in 2009 by Warner Bros. and Fox but Warner is in the running for rights at the end of this year. In late August of that year, Warner announced an investment of £4bn, which would include a number of blockbuster film projects including this weekend’s Harry Potter film, Batman v Superman and a series of film festivals next spring. As of September 2015, three films were currently slated for release in Britain. Last year, Warner announced a fourth album and a five-disc set of five movies.
In June of 2013, The Mail on Sunday reported that a British company is set to turn Harrison’s life into a film based on the classic “The Beatles” movie series. It is not clear what Harrison’s involvement in the project is, but it will be seen by a couple of people who had seen The Beatles. It is unclear if Warner Bros. is involved. Earlier this year, The Sun reported that after meeting with the Beatles, Richard Dreyfuss, the director of The Beatles, was said to have arranged to have The Beatles play a “very big gig in London on November 27 as part of the Beatles Tour”.
The interview with George Harrison was also part of a recording session at the studio where Harrison did the stage solo version of the song “Can We All Just Hang Over This Place?” in 1966 titled “Let’s Live Long Enough To Go Dance.”
In August of last year, The Washington Post reported on the story of the BBC booking John Lennon an appearance to play John Lennon’s band, the Rolling Stones. The magazine quoted one Rolling Stones source as saying that The Beatles were “always open”

One most ghastly events in Johns life at an early age occurred when his father came home to see him when he was four. Alfred came and took John to Blackpool, admist Mimis reluctance. He did not return at his scheduled time and Mimi and Julia went to retrieve him. Once they got there, they made John choose what parent he wanted to live with. At first he wanted to stay with his dad, but he went crying to his mom, who brought him back to stay with Mimi. This event tragically scared John for the rest of his life, and fostered is insecurities. Mimi and George were fairly well off financially contrary to Johns idea that he was working class. Of all the Beatles, John came from the wealthiest family. Mimi was very rigid and strict with John, and had the lacerating wit that John would display later. George was very easy and often spoiled John when Mimi was punishing him. John was a very bright child and often read, wrote and sang. He did however, have lots of trouble at school. He was always getting i trouble with Pete Shotton, his partner in crime. He did not do well with his grades and was poor in math especially. One thing John excelled in was art, he was notorious for his caricatures of deformed people. Therefore, as a teen, he went on to art school. There he met his future wife, Cynthia Powell, and best friend, Stuart Sutcliffe.
Also by this time, the skiffle craze had spread across Britain, and John formed a band. It at first consisted of his friends, and none had any musical knowledge. The skiffle craze died quickly but the Quarry Men, as they were named (after Quarry Bank High School which John attended), stayed together. Now they played the more rebellious, rock and roll. John became obsessed with music, and would practise his guitar often, which Mimi did not approve of. She frequently kicked John out onto the porch, and would often tell him “The guitar is nice John, but you wont earn a living from it!”. Johns music did unite him with his mother. Julia played banjo and taught John the chords she knew. This led John to only use 4 or the 6 strings. She also provided a place for his band to practice, in her bathroom. Unfortunately, she was killed when John was 17. This loss was something that would take John many many many years to recover from. Also lost before that was his loving Uncle George. Sadly, John would lose yet another important person before the Beatles became famous. Stu died of a brain hemorrage in Germany just before the Beatles achieved fame. Stu was very important to John for he was one of the few people John would not put an act up for.They shared many feelings together and when they separated they were known to write 20 page letters to eachother.
John did meet a good friend and future collaborator, Paul McCartney when the Quarry Men played at the Woolton Fete. Paul and John shared many many feelings and became very close friends, almost as close as John and Stu. They would often write their own songs together or
