Thesis Statement:
To explore how Adventism relates to a social republic and the overall aspects of the church.
Overview: The doctrine being approached is the different part of Adventism and the roles it plays in social and republic. The beginning of the article discusses what happen when dealing with an organization with a past and a history. There are a few choices about what one can do and he outlines them in several paragraphs. Leaving, stepping out of tradition, becoming part of a different faith and also by ignoring the past, are all examples he explains. He then talks about the importance of the past and understanding it in a pluralistic society. Bringing up the past is something he encourages, and how translating that into a current republic comes with both benefits and struggles. The end of the article heavily reviews the themes in adventism such as remnant, creation, covenant, sanctuary, sabbath, law, salvation, wholeness, the second advent and the millennium.

These views are critical to Adventism. We can not know where we are currently without knowing where we have come from at some point. I find that there is value in the history and being a republic. Especially as a remnant we must realize that we all have a past both negative and positive and we must not ignore it. If we ignore our past as a remnant we can have a specific future goal in mind.

Key Points:
One of the major points is the discussion of historical reflection. These is a prominent part of the republic of how the church functions. Many of these issues play out in the current day Adventism. We can see that many individuals step out of tradition and others
