College Transition Success
David Nyasha Mupfumi AS & T Assignment III â Test PrepNow that ECA exams and finals are fast approaching, I have to employ a number of effective study and preparatory methods so as to attain the desired grades.I have either an exam or power point presentation lined for me in the forthcoming week in each of the following subjects; Mathematics, Economics, College Transition Success(CTS) and Introduction to College Writing. The methods and ways in which I am going to prepare for each the above-mentioned courses are detailed below.Mathematics I am going to take a Math exam in the coming week, the exact date is yet to be confirmed. The test will cover all the work covered in and that will be Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus a well as Excel and Medlab. Since I have a pretty strong Math background I donât really need to dwell much on algebra and calculus, rather I am going to just scan through and revise in passing. However, for Medlab and Excel I am going to put in an extra effort since I have a relatively background in those. I have allocated at least four hours for the preparation of the two. I am also going to engage the professor through office hours because I have a vague understanding in some concepts of Excel. A group discussion is also going to done the night before the exam.Economics For this course, two colleagues of mine and I are required to come up with a power point presentation on the Unemployment and Inflation Rates in Zimbabwe. We are done with the research part of this task, just left with compiling the power-point and practising public speaking techniques to ensure excellent execution of the whole thing. We have assigned five hours, split across two days for this project to ensure that we are well prepared come the âbigâ day.WritingA three page essay on happiness has to submitted on the third August for this particular course. I have managed to do all the required research pertaining the sources I am going to use for this assignment and whatâs left is me consulting the writing consultant to get some feedback so that I can polish up all the grey areas (if any) before I can submit the final draft.
