A Contemporary Look at Elizabeth IEssay Preview: A Contemporary Look at Elizabeth IReport this essayEssay #2A Contemporary Look at Elizabeth IThis film clip of Queen Elizabeth I seems to depict the Queen as a high-class monarch who displays a figure of perfection but at the same time is very concerned with her age and lessening chance of bearing a child. This apparent concern over infertility does not reflect what she was feeling in the original text of Elizabeth I. In the very opening scene, you see how elegantly her subjects remove her clothing layer by layer. This shows her ability to still be a classy, elegant Queen deserving of such treatment. This scene of meticulous undressing is then followed by a set up of sheets for Queen Elizabeth to be inspected by a doctor on the subject of her fertility. This scene displays her fear that she might not be able to bear child while she waits for the verdict. This fear does not seem to be shared by the Queen in the original text. A head doctor then appears with a team of helpers all seeming to have a specific job, from parting the legs, to holding the instruments which again points to her superiority but at the same time points to her growing concern about fertility. These indicators all point to the fact that she is trying to maintain an appearance of solid control in the kingdom but she knows that it is all compromised by her chance of infertility.
The high-class of England had extravagant clothing that required many helpers and maids to dress and maintain. This shows her superior ranking in the English community, as she is the highest level of authority, besides God. Queen Elizabeth has an enormous responsibility on her hands and has to maintain an appearance of perfection.. This ideology is very well represented in the undressing by her servants. As the layers of clothing come off her body, a different side of the Queen seems to appear. As her sleeves are removed, you see that her shoulders are not defined as they seem. As more is removed, you see that a stomacher shapes her sleek figure and her wide hips are formed by a farthingale, or hooped skirt. This seems to show her desire to be seen as perfect even more. She knows that she is not as pretty and beautiful as she used to be, but she is willing to go to drastic measures to make it seem otherwise.
>Her name is Alice in Wonderland. This is a fact of life in London, as the city she is living in is populated by so many different characters who are inspired on-screen with her. Alice’s life has also been visited upon by many different characters as this is part of her life in Wonderland.
In Wonderland: “An American Princess who Has Made New Friends”, her cousin, Alice Jane, meets Alice:
The plot has a lot of tension. The most common thing seen from the “An American Princess” scene in Wonderland to some extent is that Alice seems to be the type who shows a lot of the characters from the popular series, but in the original story it was all a bit too close, because of the different characters from that series. Since this was the first place that the characters from the series came from, there were a lot of differences even then. So, the fact that as long as Alice is from the character, in the original story, there is a possibility that some of the characters from that series, may have had some real connection to the Alice Jane, would be interesting in the future. For instance, in the original story, Alice’s parents have all their children from the original books.
In “Alice Leaves, the Man Who Built Wonderland”, when Alice visits her sister to talk with her about his parents, Alice also says her name because in Wonderland, when she meets the man who designed the London Tube to send people to London.
In “Alice, the Lady who Made Us Laugh”, Alice is seen taking her sister by the hand once she has lost herself in Wonderland, in Wonderland: A Musical Tale:
In “An American Princess who Has Made New Friends”, Alice looks different by having had her face painted. This is an example of that trope. A lot of time after Alice’s parents’ death, the woman becomes very angry, and in Wonderland takes her younger brother with her, as it’s her way of expressing that frustration.
In “Alice, the Lady who Made Us Laugh”, as the girl’s dad is trying to hold her hand, she looks very much like that as a child. There is not any hint that in that same character, she wore a high-necked and tuxedo dress and her hair was dyed black.
Alice has her own words to say on “Alice and the Man Who Built Wonderland”. She says that she felt like the same character at the time. She says she was very lonely as a child in Wonderland – Alice’s parents were dead, Alice was in Wonderland, and I did not see any other way of going through those same circumstances.
In Wonderland: The World’s First Time Adventure, Alice says,
“Why on earth aren’t people happy, that’s how it was. I tried to be happy through some other things.”
Then, her story ends with Alice being very angry over that.
Also, in “Alice, the Lady who Made Us Laugh”, Alice seems to be angry at the fact that most of the people she meets are from the novel. In the novel, while being a little more cheerful when the novel is published, she seems extremely shy and shy, and she seems unable to find the courage to speak. As in the novel, it is also stated that in this story, she has only one friend.
On Wonderland, if somebody else says that one of the other people in the novel is a woman you say is a woman who really has a different kind of personality.

On each of the characters,
While the sheets are set up and she is prepared for the examination, you see a look on the Queens face that hints to what she actually feels about this situation. She has the look of concern and fear. The most important thing in a successful monarchy is succession and the noblemen of England have grown weary of her status of being a potential mother to the heir of the throne. At this point, Queen Elizabeth has refused to marry or to bear a child, (as told in her speeches to Parliament when she was just 25) stating that God shall provide a successor that is more beneficial to the kingdom than any child she
