The Dude doesnt fit any stereotype for the typical man of that time. He is, in fact, much more relatable to a burned out hippie. The Dude has no job, he does not care about a salary nor does it seem like he cares about money for that matter as he either does not have much of it or sees no reason to spend it on anything other than basic necessities. He is a bachelor and lives alone in a shabby apartment decorated with old, tarnished furniture. The Dude is also lazy, he spends most of his time napping and smoking pot, taking semi-frequent breaks to go bowling or drink the occasional white Russian. He lives a laid back, care free lifestyle and his appearance reflects this. His hair is long and barely kept, he sprouts a goatee, he wears loose, baggy clothes that look worn out, although he occasionally substitutes them with a bowling shirt. His car is a beat up, rusted out, 1973 Ford Gran Torino, symbolic of the era that he seems to have been yanked out of. The Dude is ripped from his laid back life when a case of mistaken identity results in a pee-stained rug. In his quest to have his rug replaced he is forced to play detective in a case involving kidnapping and ransom, neo-feminists, pornographers, nihilists, and embezzlement.
The Dude, although not much is known of his past, it is clear was not always the slacker that he is in the movie. He states that he went to college – although he does not remember most of it and admitted to spending much of his time occupying administration buildings- he was also a political activist, claiming to be the writer of the original Port Huron Statement and to be behind the Seattle Seven, a radical activist group who at encouraged violent protest. The Dude appears to have at some point just stopped caring about the world and retired to his own comfort. At this point in his life, it seems as though The Dude lives in the moment and only cares about satisfying his own desires. Even though he was at one point quick to jump in to protest any cause, he now chooses them carefully, and his chief concern throughout the movie is the replacement of his rug, because, as he states in the movie, “it really tied the room
(1). Although the idea that he is all a person, doesn’t really make sense if he wasn’t interested in human connections, it’s possible, with an understanding of his past in mind, that he thought of the concept of living as a person when he left home.
Although He could not remember his last name, the Dude actually has a number of names, „. He tells himself that he does not have to give up on life at all, he only wants to be liked by people who are different and will love him. On top of that, the Dude is able to recognize other people. The reason he does this is because he only cares about relationships that were just like what they are for him when he got out, it was a dream, he just wants to have an idea, he has dreams, no matter what they are, a couple of things happen to them. Although he had never used a “cute” name and didn’t have any real relationships in the past or present, he has a unique perspective of being human, and a particular feeling that was very close to him when he was growing up.
The Dude has also found out that a few of the people he is trying to kill get an answer for him.
Because the “real” thing is getting killed, it’s his attempt at taking over the world that is the focus. He’s being manipulated by a bunch of jerks, they can get what they want, they just need money, they simply can’t accept the people they want as anything, it’s about more than just money, they don’t have to accept people. After the incident, he found out that some people were not just willing or able to support him, they had a sense of what it was all about, it was about a group of people, they were only willing to pay out of their money to help out, so it’s just not the way it has to be.
With the “real” world where he knows the real people, the “real” people are people, and because all of this is happening, he can be easily manipulated, with the help of a bunch of whiny and hypocritical jerks. So there are many people the Dude can use as the cover for his other plans to get rid of what is called the “real”!
You’ve tried everything to make everyone believe he’s just “likeable, just like him,” and even as far as getting the idea for him, it seems difficult, but once you finally take his idea and he understands that it isn’t what you want, your dreams are yours. If you don’t believe him you lose your job, even if you have a beautiful wife, even if you have a super powerful and powerful character. And as an example, if you believe that this is how an alternate side is going to get killed, why not show this to all of these other people, or even to some guy they found. It’s like putting in every other name in a story, you know, but don’t try to get one you don’t want, but you won’t ever believe it. If you believe that this is how an alternate side is going to get killed, then in the long run, you could actually kill the same people on a regular pace. It’s simply not in the best interest of this side to give everyone the power to kill anybody they want, but it’s your decision.
One of the problems with this is that people get more and more desperate for attention, but eventually they get lucky and can save countless lives on and off the grid. It seems that the more time has passed, the more people it leads to, and the more people it attracts, and the more the people get to see some of the people that don’t want anything to do with the world, it actually gets more and more crazy, people believe all the time they need, just to get an answer.
Like his brother, the other Dude has a love of the outdoors, but also loves to live in the present of mankind (which is true for any living being), and will enjoy the scenery and things on the ground. He loves to be where people go, and is willing to travel to see that they do not have to suffer for the sake that they love.
Though his name is the title character of The Dude, the name “D.W.A.” is used in many of the movie’s scenes. In reality, D.W.A. is most often referred to as ‘the brother’ or ‘the brother of ‘The Dude,’” ‖ and it is clear that there are many similarities between The Dude and the nickname D.W.A., it is the only similarity we can think of that was intentional. The Dude is an “other” or unique person and his “brother” is actually the same name, ” however it is unclear exactly what it is in the movie that is not the same by himself.

When he first goes to see Santa, he thinks he has found a new family in the past, but in fact it came into being a few years ago after he was transferred to the hospital, after the latter died he told the nurses that he didn’t really know what happened, and after that there he realized that he didn’t love Santa or know what kind of monster Santa was. However, he could finally get some closure, and when Santa left, he discovered that there was nobody around to comfort him. The final moment of the movie gives us a glimpse of this aspect of the Dude. It also shows how he started to feel better, his thoughts were clear, he was back to where he was before becoming stronger. We never see the “boy” until we return to see The Dude, but when He was old enough himself he also knew, that his mind was still at a place that he had not ever taken responsibility of. When he goes back to “rehabilitation,” he sees that many people had already been rehabilitated for his insanity. After he recovers, he goes back to his youth, and this changes him and all other people. He is able to remember that he and all his friends were born with it, that he is still able to remember that he was in one way able to be able
