Substance abuse in the United States is forever changing. Drugs are harming our society in a tremendous way today. The use of drugs is affecting people all over the United States in their homes and in the workplace. Drugs are readily accessible to a wide range of individuals today. The following discussion will examine the past and current trends of the use and abuse of substances in the United States.
In the past the use of drugs were used for pure enjoyment, relaxation and medicinal use. In the early years Today drugs are a means of escaping from what we call reality.
