I think overfishing originated when fishermen began using bigger and better fishing nets and techniques. Better fishing equipment resulted in overfishing, which is a major water resource problem. Depletion of the fish population is a problem that could be managed. Even though, it is difficult for the depleted stocks to return to sustainable levels, and other species dependent on the depleted stocks may become imbalanced, causing further problems, it is possible to recover (MarineBio.org, 1998-2008).
The Fish
Marine bioethics is a philosophy of research in which scientists take risks in pursuit of knowledge and the scientific method.
In its primary role, scientific investigation and scientific discovery serve to make conclusions. Scientific discovery and understanding often leads to significant results, for example results that have led to more accurate scientific data in order to better understand the situation. Research has come to the attention of policymakers and scientific institutions to make better decisions about which fish species can and should be studied (Baird et al., 2007). In some circumstances, the scientists involved may have knowledge to contribute to better understanding (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), 2010). These studies provide evidence that the effects of fishing are related to conservationism (E.K., Pomerantsev et al., 2010).
The fisheries of North America and South America are a global food chain consisting of the vast expanses of marine life, a number of plants, animals and fisheries, many of which are not found naturally (Aquaculture Trust for the Aquatic Health of the United States, 2007). With overfishing, an estimated 500 million people worldwide suffer from chronic or serious health conditions every year. The world’s natural resources including fisheries, marine water resources, salt marshes and salt marshes are rapidly being depleted, particularly due to unsustainable fishing practices. The problem is now spreading to a number of species, from the salmon to sea bass.
We need to prevent unsustainable fishing and prevent overexploitation. Research should be carried out under scientific regulations that protect the public and communities.
A good resource is our knowledge of the world’s fish systems. This holds great promise if researchers can use the information available to inform their research projects and research in many areas. This will enable us to apply research design and data analysis to better understand and understand fish populations and habitats. The research should be aimed at studying the underlying dynamics and causes of the current fisheries situation.

A management and sustainment plan I think would benefit both sides of the issue when it comes to overfishing is to educated people on the issue of overfishing, put a limit on the amount of fish fishermen can catch in a certain amount of time, restrict some areas of the ocean against fishing, and set rules that fishermen must follow when fishing. Overfishing is a major issue all over the world, not just in a few locations; therefore the first step in my sustainment plan would be to educate everyone about the depletion of fish due to overfishing. The next step in my plan would be to put a restriction on certain areas of the ocean where fish could reproduce and have time to grow. This area would give fish time to reproduce without fishermen taking them out of the ocean before they have the chance to multiply. The third step in my plan would be to limit the amount of fish fishermen could catch in a certain area and in a certain amount of time. Next, I would set rules that would stop fishermen from catching and discarding too many fish. Bycatch, fish and other species that are discarded by fishermen, is a major problem caused by overfishing (Overfishing-A Global Disaster, 2007).
There are many ways people all over the world could be educated about overfishing. I think the best way to educate people about overfishing is through e-mails, newspapers, and television. Most people in the world today are using computers and have Internet access; therefore I think this would be the best way to communicate with the public. The actions plans that I would take to educate people would require many steps. First, I would send e-mails, about overfishing and what could be done to help the problem; to all the people I know and I would ask them to send it to everyone they know. Next, I would also try to get articles put in the newspapers around the world discussing the issue. Then, I would try to get the issue talked about on the news, daily.

So as you might know there is a kind of technology I haven’t even mentioned so that we won’t get into the actual issue, but the problem of overfishing, because it appears that’s very real to people that all is being managed with computers. That computer is controlled by a man named William Smith to the point which it is very important to me that people get a better understanding of the situation, how the problem is caused; how it can be managed and managed all the time.

It’s done by my students, there’s a number of other people there that are doing this, but we’ve got to get some of the most productive people out there into the field. The one we can work on is with a few folks who are well-trained, who have a large community, who are working with a variety of other groups. To help us get people into this field, and we do that through the website. I have a video of some people working the site. It’s fantastic!

Here’s it again: you can talk to your computer to try to solve the problem and that gives you information, but at this point I’m concerned that we won’t know how it would work, because I don’t have the budget to make those interventions. So I’ve sent out one article which calls attention to the problem – I didn’t do my research, which could have been very useful.
In other words, I want to find out how it might work for the entire world to get an idea of what sort of problems it can lead to and I don’t know how to get access to it, by the way because I wouldn’t want to be part of the problem. And then, after that, I don’t think it’s really that complicated, because people from all countries are interested in this issue. I’ve been working on it, not just with a few students but a number of others as well.
I’ve gotten more and more informed I will, I will continue to work on it because I think that it ought to have a place in the public square because it’s a good thing for society and it’s good for us. In fact, I am very glad that people are aware about this. It’s a necessary distraction to make people aware of things that are happening.
In part 1, I think it’s necessary to go into the public square and educate people about the issue, and then to talk about the way in which people are talking about it so they have a better understanding of what is going on.
