Many times child welfare mediation is also refereed to as child protection mediation. There are many times that child welfare mediation want to involve the birth parents in the planning for his or her children by allowing him or her in an inclusive, confidential and non- judgmental process. With is the birth parents may have their wishes considered. The mediator will have the parents, the childs caseworkers, and attorneys or any other interested parties so he or she can discuss issues things that involve the child or children in foster care. This way everyone can all work together and come to some form of agreement to settle an issues that they may have had.
