Ludacris
A speech should always be important and something that a person
should remember for his/her life. The person who gives the speech should
be somebody that everybody connects with and the specker, should be
able to inspire, a person to set goals and achieve too. OnSaturday April 23,
2005, at Christ Universal Temple, I had the pleasure of seeing and listening
to somebody that inspire me to type this paper, actor, philanthropist,
record label executive recording artist, “Ludacris”, spoke to an audience
of over two thousand people. “Ludacris”, the star of “2 fast 2 furious”, and
the up coming major motion picture “Crash” with Sandra Bullock,
he is also a hip hop recording artist that has sold over seventeen
million albums in United States.Seeing “Ludacris”, was a very
exciting thing, then they said his real name is “Chris Briges”, was pretty funny.
When he was introduced the crowd gave him a standing
applause, and he seemed surpise !
As “Ludacris”, started his speech it directed towards the youth.
The topics that he brought up in his speech was appropriate, because
it was youth Saturday, and he use to attend the templeas a child, plus it
was chruch. He focused his topics directly to the youth, probably because that is
what his popularity cares too. His sources was from his life experiences.
Ludacris, did not have any materials with him except his hand cards. It,
should in his speech that he did spend sometime preparingfor his speech.
Only thing that was missing, was presentational aids.
“Ludacris”, introduction started off with a simple “thank you” to the
audience. He did not sayanything about his topics in the beginning of his
speech. Being that he was a famous person, people was making a lot
of noise. He did not really establish his credibility on his topics of life
experiences, but he did preview the key ideas on life.
The body of his speech was pretty good, the number of key ideas was
stated, “Respect your Parents”, Respect your Teacher”, “Parents respect
your Kids” and so on. His key ideas were relevant
