By training at home, I have been able to retain my culture and learn about my religion. By mingling up in this society, I am learning about American culture and Christianity. Although I?m surrounded by the American culture most of the time, I have been able to keep my native culture alive. I speak my native language at home, which is Hindi. I am learning to read and write in Hindi using the Internet. Our culture is to respect our elders and especially our teachers. In our culture, teachers have the highest position in our society. Education is the most important thing to us. We must get good education. Traditionally, we do not have to undergo stresses caused by disintegrating of families. Another important thing our culture teaches us is to respect other cultures and religions.

My journey has been a journey of hope and hope?
My family lived in these areas for over 4 decades. They all helped build this country through my efforts. They came from all over the world, and are all happy to serve and be part of my journey.
What is your purpose this journey will take you?
I plan to travel a lot. I intend to learn more and discover more about humanity. I have seen some of my friends and family. I have been surprised by how many of them are willing to live in such a small time in my life. I?m passionate about the cause. I plan on doing the best for this country, but with the right people. I am hopeful that if I can continue to pursue a journey of positive action that takes me beyond the limits of my physical abilities, then I?ll be one of America’s top 10 Americans in my lifetime. This dream is too much for me. I believe I?ll be able to overcome the obstacles I?ll face if I?ll live my life confidently and proudly.
