According to City Zoo employees, the death of the three animals might have been caused by poor communication between workers and their supervisors.

On December 26th he informed the Board of the new supervisor’s job search. “On January 6th of this year, the City Zoo reopened because we had concerns about the presence of bears. On January 6th, we took the decision to close City Zoo, as our safety and well-being was compromised. ” This was not an accident at City Zoo, but merely the unfortunate fact that the zoo needed to keep the zoo quiet and avoid any public relations issues for the time being. ” During the investigation, staff were also found to have paid staff staff (including supervisors and manager) to work at City Zoo.
