Outfoxed ReviewEssay title: Outfoxed ReviewWhat Michael Moore did to the Bush administration in “Fahrenheit 9/11,” producer-director Robert Greenwald does to Fox News in “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdochs War on Journalism.” Presenting an often repetitive yet generally cohesive examination of the cable news net as an unapologetic propagandist for the Republican cause, this op-ed doc makes persuasive points about media manipulation, political bias and smear-campaign tactics. Distributed on DVD through the Disinformation Co., the film lacks the accompanying media spotlight that boosted the Moore release and therefore appears unlikely to reach beyond a liberal audience with an already vehement aversion to Fox News partisan coverage.

Outfoxed is produced and directed by former Fox News chief Washington Bureau Chief Andrew Kasowitz. It has aired and written reviews from six different outlets in three languages: English, French, Italian/English and Russian. It contains no special features on Fox News.

In addition to the above, there are other films, projects, and work that may or may not be of interest to your viewing pleasure. Our review series is the reason I’ve picked Outfoxed. I hope this review will keep you interested as I work on an upcoming film project based on a historical document and then read the other films published in our work. Until next time.
