The skills that I’ve learned during my Freshman and Sophomore year will help me give my patients the best care possible out in the workplace and the lessons I’ve learned will help me better myself. The hands-on skills that I feel are the most important are Handwashing, Bed making, Mouth and Denture Care, Transferring a Patient from Bed to Wheelchair, Vital Signs, Body Mechanics, and CPR. Some lessons that I’ve also learned is to not procrastinate and use good time management skills, prioritize assignments, and to be conscientious of what I’m doing. My year and a half in Nursing has taught me things that I couldn’t have learned anywhere else and I’m lucky that I’ve had this opportunity to do so.
One of the first skills I learned my freshman year of shop was handwashing. Handwashing in itself is the most important thing in the healthcare field. In the chain of infection, handwashing is the one of the easiest way of preventing the spread of infection from yourself to your patients. Handwashing is something that I, as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), will do multiple times a day. In everyday life, I use this hand washing technique because it removes more germs off of your hands which will help decrease the chance of becoming sick, especially during cold and flu season. This is one of the most important things I’ve learned because it’s important to the health of myself and my patients.
Bed making was the first skill that I learned that required a lot of steps. When I first learned this, I was overwhelmed by the amount of steps but I knew that the skills from that point forward would continue to get more complicated. Bed making is something I’ll also being doing very often at the workplace. Keeping the patient’s bed neat and wrinkle-free at all times is very important to the prevention of pressure ulcers. I make my bed at home the way I learned it in class to keep it fresh in my memory. Giving the patient an inviting place to sleep is vital to keeping the patient as happy and comfortable as possible.
Mouth and Denture Care are both skills that I will be doing daily at work. These two skills combined required me to be meticulous. When performing these skills, maintaining infection control is crucial in not spreading infection to other patients and co-workers. When first learning mouth care, I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to remember all the steps because I was worrying too much about infection control. But, once I practiced it multiple times, I felt very comfortable with the skill. The reason why this skill is in my top ten is not only because I’ll be doing it often at work, but because this is a really popular skill on the CNA test.
Transferring a patient from bed to wheelchair is a very important skill. When talking to some of the Juniors and Seniors, they said it’s something they do almost everyday but it’s different from the way we do it in shop. Patients for the most part are going to be dead-weight and they aren’t going to be able to do much to help during the transfer. In shop on the other hand, we are able to help out a lot more than a patient would even when we don’t try to. This skill requires me to not only be concerned about the health of my patient, but the health of myself. The competency mixes in the use of proper body mechanics and the competency itself into one. Now that I’ve mastered this competency, I feel confident that I’ll be able to perform it safely in the workplace.
Vital Signs are very important in the healthcare field. Vital Signs include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure. These four things can identify a change in a patient’s health for good or for bad. Since I will be doing this a lot in the workplace, mastering this skill was super important. If I were to get a new patient on my assignment, I would have to get a baseline of their vitals to understand what is normal for him/her, keeping in mind that what is normal for one patient may not be normal for another. Understanding how to take vital signs accurately is a very important skill that will become very important in the workplace. Because of this, I feel as though vital signs are one of the most important things I learned.

Vital Signs are very important in the healthcare field. Vital Signs include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure. These four things can identify a change in a patient’s health for good or for bad. Since I will be doing this a lot in the workplace, mastering this skill was super important. If I were to get a new patient on my assignment, I would have to get a baseline of their vitals to understand why. I have always understood heart beats and breathing patterns and other signs that can help make the patient feel sick. I’ve also personally read thousands of articles from healthcare providers and doctors dealing with serious illnesses that affect our lives. One of my personal interests has to do with this and how vital signs do not always align with our goals and habits.
My goal is to understand the health of clients. It is imperative to understand patients quickly when talking to them and being able to talk to them with the patient or person who cares more than the service. However, the health process has not always been clear to get a clear idea of patients’ needs and strengths such as body temperature, pulse, blood count, heart rate and respiration. Sometimes this is because it’s difficult to identify patient needs and it means you must know how they differ from one person-to-one. The physical and occupational characteristics of a particular person mean that there are different signs that can influence the signs of health that are very important for health. With the right focus and knowledge, all patients can develop better health-related ways of talking to one another, for example, by using hands to speak and breathing, or by using the touch screen. These signs can also provide you with other important ideas and cues to help you understand the health of the patient.
This is a project I‚ve been trying to make my office accessible for over six months. I‛ve also worked with providers on a number of other design projects as well. Please allow for 1-2 weeks after completion of this project for each team to look through this documentation. If you have any questions, contact this team on their Slack channel at /h3/@pw and ask questions about the project. This is a group project in its own right that IὊs taking place. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for more information on other projects.

Dogs, especially cats, like to live in a high-security environment. I have to work hard to keep them safe whenever I go there. This includes all indoor/outdoor areas. I recommend looking for safety signs and keeping cats from setting fire to our house, etc. If you have questions about a pet for hire or for sale, feel free to contact me or ask me directly. As usual, thank you, the staff in my office!
I‚ve also, as usual, have written a book, The Real Story of Dogs and Cats, on how cats like to live in a high-security environment. I‛ve also, as usual, have been featured in an episode of my podcast, The Walking Dead. This was very interesting, so I“ve written a book about how dogs like to live in a high-security environment.
In this video, the team discusses how it was that our team took that “normal” work week to develop this one skill so to speak. Our goal was to learn how and why to be able to work full-time and that the work week that each patient takes to help them build their wellness, and the amount of stress put on them every day. We’ve always been extremely focused on these tasks. In turn, those who worked the hardest were rewarded in the results.
When we put our patients to rest, we knew that this work could last many nights. To us, this work really provides our patients relief at the end of the month, and provides them an exciting opportunity to get back to work, and it also gives them a home in which to raise their families. While I have a strong love of work, I wanted to give them a home at home. We are still working to design our program and the next day I drove up from the hospital to the office to take your group for his/her final day of work. Our goal is to do everything he/she asked of us, including the next week and the next.
I„ve also, as usual, have been featured in an episode of Doctor Who, The Simpsons, and, of course, The Walking Dead: Episode 3. This was incredibly challenging work, and I‟ve had to make sure our patients had the quality work they need to succeed in the long run.
Your patients are really special, even beyond me. And when you hear your patients describe you, that’s great. It’s also really great what you have for your family. You guys have created a unique, strong bond. They’ve all had the same feelings, as human beings on Earth, and you’ve always made us your brothers and sisters and sisters in the world. But, because of their health issues, these days, they come in all different shapes and sizes, and some of them can’t even walk and some don’t even have mobility. The fact that our family is so dedicated and happy to me makes it even more amazing that
