Bureaucracy is defined as a large organization with extensive divisions of labor. Max Weber was a historian that wrote about the appearance of bureaucracy from more traditional organizational forms and its raising in modern society. Weber believed that beau racy is the particular type of administrative structure developed through rational legal authority. Weber said that bureaucracy resolves some of the shortcomings of the traditional system in six points: First, jurisdictional areas are clearly specified, activities are distributed as official duties. Second, organizations follow hierarchical principle, follow orders of superiors. Third, abstract rules govern decisions and actions. Fourth, means of production or administration belong to office. Fifth, officials are selected on a basis of technical qualifications, appointed not elected. Finally, employment by the organization is a career. Weber stressed that the rational legal form was the most stable of systems for both superiors and subordinates. As a result, bureaucratic systems can handle more complex operations than traditional systems.
Weber also believed that in order to have a well established bureaucracy one must follow some other rules. First, you have to specialize it, you get better at it with more practice which is known as division of labor.
There are a lot of things that differ upper class, upper middle class, and lower class. Size, economic resource, education, family, and attitude play a huge part in the differencing of the three classes. Upper class is the only one to five percent of the population. The main ecomic resource is wealth and education is the best. The family is adult directed and have self-confident attitudes. The upper middle class is fifteen percent of the population. Profession is the ecomic resource and education is key. Families are child centered with a self-discipline attitude. The lower class is also fifteen
