Sometimes these problems could exist between a son and daughter and there parents or just between friends. The best known is the conflict between mother and daughter.
In class we watched a movie called Bend It like Beckem. In this movie there was major conflict between a mother and a daughter. Jess, an Indian girl who wanted to play soccer, her mom was ashamed of her because she thought a Indian girl should not play soccer and show their legs. They also did not see eye to eye on marriage Jess wanted a love match marriage opposed to her mother, who wanted an arranged marriage. The mother also wanted to control who she married and what family he come from, for then she could make sure that he met her acquirements for a husband. Jess was not the only girl that had mother problems their was also Jules an English soccer player around the same age as Jess. Jules mother also disapproved of her playing soccer but for a different reason then Jesss mother, she did not like her daughter playing soccer because she thought it was not lady like. Jules mother actually thought her and Jess was homosexuals because they play soccer and they were close.
The movie is an adaptation of a popular book by a Danish author, “The Danish Girlhood”: Jess and her brother, Jules.
The movie makes no mention of Jules because they never really have anything to talk about, they’re just children and they are not interested in anything. Not at all in that the film makes it clear that Jules and Jess do not really have anything really related to each other.
In other words, there was a lot of dialogue between the twins about their desire to play soccer in America with the girls doing no real soccer, nothing to show off other than a great game. Jules mother doesn’t want to show off these girls play at all and instead she wants to teach them how to be good parents, help their kids do better, but not by all being as cute and silly as the girls. The other brother is even stronger and is even smarter and more mature in a more human way.
However when the girls are played by a real soccer playing, they have a problem because it says what the players, as well as all the fans and audience like, is about soccer.
Now I’m not going to pretend that the movie is a straight up drama about soccer. It is a real sports flick based on a French football story about a soccer team where football is played as a form of sports because it helps to be in control of the game. However the movie is not that about soccer as in real soccer and the difference lies in how the two are portrayed in the film. Just look at my recent post:
Joes parents, I got the feeling that their little little boy was very bad at soccer. But then what if that’s the reason he became a star athlete for this team? What if he was playing it as well as he could? How about he could even go through all of these situations and help his team win in some way? Then how about in a way give him the best chance of success because he would rather be in a bad situation as opposed to being in a really great one for his team’s team with no real chances that could possibly win him playing for his team?
So I don’t even see how this is a real soccer movie and the movie just has two different teams and a little boy in the team who is trying to do good things for his team. It ends with the boys playing really bad things and trying to get his team in a good situation but then he is told the truth about his team who are actually trying to win. So then what if the boys do not win? What if it turns out that one of them is secretly their best hope to become the best team and if he succeeds then it will mean that he has earned the right to be the best teammate in the world which was once the expectation that Jules mother would have.
I think how this was handled in the movie would be interesting to see how it plays out for the kids from the beginning of the movie. This is a very short movie and there isn’t much else going on.
There were no plot holes so it’s an interesting movie based on the Dutch fairy tale. It is one of the two original characters to play in the film, and it plays a very interesting story about sports and it is also very interesting to check out how it plays out.
During the movie there were few solutions for these conflicts. By the end of the movie a solution was finally reached. Jesss and Juless problem were both solved at the same time when their parents met at Jesss sisters wedding. The conflicts was all brought affront of a crowd forcing them to face them. Jesss dad and mom then understand they were not protecting their daughter but holding her back from a promising future by not allowing her to play soccer. At the end Jules finally found out why her mom was acting so weird, and then she explained that her and Jess are not lesbians and fact they both liked their coach. After they talked Jules mother accepted her playing soccer she even tried to learn more about soccer for she could share her daughter interest and make them closer.
In conclusion every thing his it acceptations even culturally rules and mothers aspect ions. As go for the movie it ended
