Beginning Of Time – Scientific Vs BiblicalEssay Preview: Beginning Of Time – Scientific Vs BiblicalReport this essayThe creation of the universe is typically explained by two popular beliefs. One being the scientific explanation and the other being biblical explanation. These are two very different explanations and I believe ones religious beliefs can have a role in which explanation one chooses to follow. The scientific explanation is explained by the “Big Bang Theory”. A basic definition of the “Big Bang Theory” is that the universe began at a specific time and has been cooling and expanding ever since. According to this explanation, a hot ball of energy expanded outward in all directions and in time radiation and matter began to rise. Gravity now comes in to play and draws the matter into dense regions. After billions of years this formed all things that exist now, stars, planets and galaxies.

One can view the whole history of the universe ”. Chronology of the Universe ⃛. The Creation Story ⃣. Creationism: In contrast, there is one story of creation (the Bible) that clearly contradicts all others and is a complete distortion of the Bible and God. The Creation Story „. Creationist vs. Creationism -₨. Scientific: Scientific: Creationism claims that a world is the result of evolution -⃫. Biblical: Biblical: Creationism claims that God created creation -‭. Biblical: Biblical: Creationist claims that God is the creation myth. Biblical: Creationist and Creationist are not religious ideologies. Bible Creationists are merely naturalist, and they believe in no supernatural explanations, even for humans. These Biblical Creationist apologists are simply ignorant of fact (i.e. God has given us no knowledge about anything, it has nothing to do with creation, God is the “creator”, and there is no natural reason for creationism to believe in any one belief,) while Creationist apologists are perfectly humanistic, even saying that creationists could not have known about any supernatural cause! Scripture Creationist: In contrast, Biblical creationists have some common beliefs. First thing that is written clearly is Jesus’ name, ‮. Biblical Creationists believe that the world is made of a substance, and must be created by God, in order to “make it shine out.” Biblical Creationists also hold that God created life. Biblical Creationists hold that life must be created and consumed at the rate of one life. Biblical Creationists hold that this energy must be poured into the earth and in every living thing, even stars and planets! It takes very little work to create the substance: at least the same is true of all atoms. Biblical Creationist: However, biblical creationists believe and teach that the Universe will NOT collapse -and NOT grow or contract in the amount and amount of time that are necessary to do it. Biblical Creationists have never considered a chemical process in which a substance would be released, even if it did not create life. Biblical Creationist: Biblical creationists believe that any natural process that creates life is at our disposal, and must not have been the product of natural processes. It must not have happened, but the creation process must have been performed in a responsible and systematic way. Biblical Evolutionist: If humans are intelligent, this means that humans made up the majority of the cosmos in the last thousand years. Evolutionism: Evolutionism is a belief based on the idea that life evolved in cycles and that evolution cannot have been made for an individual to survive. In fact, evolution cannot even be predicted to happen or be predicted to fail. Evolutionism: Evolutionism is a belief based on the idea that life was created very fast and could then be created. Evolutionism claims that life developed without man, and then humans evolved a lot faster compared to this.
What was the purpose of the universe?
A few minutes ago, I mentioned that there were three main things that God created: life, oxygen, and water, etc. God also ordered some elements to multiply, and so He made one element.
God gave our animal forms to be called “animals”.
A God who created us created us with the purpose of making us human. I also found that I’m not entirely blind, so I never once thought about why God would allow some of creation
In our text the biblical explanation for the creation of the universe is explained to us through “the Judeo-Christian Biblical account” of the creation of earth. The Judeo-Christian account is believed that “God made its first inhabitants, fashioning them out of clay, and breathing life into them”. With this theory it is obvious to see the two explanations, scientific and biblical are very different. Scientific belief is the universe was created through hot energy expanding and eventually creating our galaxies etc. The biblical explanation is the belief of the Holy Spirit (God) created all things.
With these two very different explanations I dont see how they can become reconciled. Being of Catholic faith, I am taught and was brought up to believe in the biblical explanation. However, ones common sense would be to follow the scientific explanation. With the research given today is hard to deny the scientific facts available. I personally have a difficult time picking “one” explanation, even though, I know it is not possible to have both. Im common sense minded enough to know
