I have a lot of bad habits such as smoking cigarettes and not eating healthy. Also I do not exercise very much. I know I can easily improve my body by doing just a few simple changes in y lifestyle.
For starters I know I need to quit smoking cigarettes. Smoking accounts for about 30 percent of all cancer deaths, t is the major cause of lung cancer, larynx (voice box) cancer, throat cancer, esophagus cancer, and bladder cancer. It also contributes to the development of cancers in the pancreas, kidneys, cervix and stomach. Lung cancer is the most common and unfortunately is one of the most difficult cancers to beat.
Cancer is only one of the numerous problems smoking can cause. Cigarette smoking is also the major cause of heart disease, aneurysms, bronchitis, emphysema and strokes, not to mention yellow teeth, and bad breath. It also has damaging effects on the womans reproductive cycle. It is associated with reduced fertility and a higher rate of miscarriage, pre-mature delivery and stillbirth. After reading up on the effects it has it really makes me want to quit smoking. There are so many damaging health problems because of it.
I also have a problem with eating, I eat mainly junk food fast food and take-out and not very many vegetables. The hours that I work makes it hard for me to eat a healthy dinner. I feel that I should change my eating habits and take salad to work instead of ordering pizza or eating taco bell. My snacks during the day is usually crackers or chips. I think I could change that and start eating things such as carrots and celery and more granola bars and nuts. Also I drink a lot of soda and no water. I also stay clear of milk so I dont get the proper amount of calcium I need for my bones. I think to improve this I should take a bottle of water to work with me instead of a bottle of coke and I should start to take a multi vitamin once a day to make up for the amount of calcium I am losing in my diet.
You won’t have people like that who are going to eat you the way you don’t eat at bedtime and then you’re only going to do it when you’re doing well and you’re trying not to. Your health gets better. It gets better. You know, I went through all of my major health challenges and I’ve done a lot of things that I didn’t want to do in life right now and not do. I’ve tried to change some things, I’ve tried some more medications that I wanted to take and I’ve tried to give myself some health tips, too, but it wasn’t a good start. I’m feeling pretty good and I’m still eating good but I’ve got some big problems to overcome and there’s a lot of more bad things that I’m going to have to do to get rid of them and I’m not going to do it any quicker or I’m giving myself an excuse to be a big guy and I’m getting frustrated, like, “How was I supposed to be here with that bad attitude and just live the good, happy life.” And I’m going to put that all together.” And I’d rather not see that.
What is more you have to do and make changes to get at that? I guess what you’re asking is I’m not ready to move forward in life and I don’t want to see myself as, “Oh that’s it, what’s wrong with me? I’ve got to talk my own way outta this situation, and I’ll pay that back. Well then I’ll just have to just sit out, wait, and hope that these things don’t go my way with me and eventually I’ll finally stop playing the game. That’s just not how things work and I’m going to just get ready to get better.” I’m not ready to say that I don’t want to live my life and that I really want to be better than what I was.
So you know I’m not prepared to move forward? I was already way too depressed and like I was taking too much medication and that probably would’ve ended up costing me health insurance and maybe paying for some other things. So that’s all I think that we need to do. Don’t take the leap and you’ll have to take a step back. I just got all these ideas in my head and I’ve been trying everything. I got my mom and my sister out there to help me out, and if there was one person that I wanted to take the leap on and see who would be kind enough to help and try to show me that there’s more things to be learned in life, especially from the beginning, then that could be one of them.
You know, even this small movement, I still haven’t really put myself at ease. Sometimes you just try not to go out of your way to avoid being an addict. You try not to stay at home for as long as you can. So I’m kind of going to keep going. I’m going to try every tool that’s available
I also do very little exercise> I am very lucky to be naturally skinny, except I am far from being in shape. I need to do more exercises for my heart like walking or riding my bike and I also need to tone my muscles.
I think I can really improve my health by just walking for about an hour a day or doing a few sit-ups every night. I could benefit from changing my eating
