As the idea understood from this quotation of Charles Dickens; every individual has its own experiences in different perspectives, when they were young. Adolescents always have the capability of trying a new experience however the action they do is crazy or not. The reason is obvious that young people can not differentiate the action they are willing to do is right or wrong. Shortsighted teenagers usually encounters with some difficulties throughout their early life due to unplanned actions, caused by their environment. Accordingly, the author of this quotation Charles Dickens tries to mention the same idea with this.
Experiences can be obtained as the ages pass, and it becomes developed accordingly with the tests taken in a whole life. Elders that have these some sort of experiences are the expert of life, and they find the capability of differentiating the rights and wrongs with its self. Thats why youth without a sufficient experience can not actualize this sort of differentiations, and this situation leads them to live every single happiness or especially sadness with an extreme way. Both happiness and sadness occurs in extreme, but the consequences of sadness can be pretty devastating for a young person. As it was mentioned; youngsters are shortsighted people that can not generate any future due to insufficient experience. According to this point, when youngsters do the wrong thing, mostly they encounter with the family and other environmental pressures that triggering stressfulness. From this perspective, youth is experiencing the stress by means of experiencing the wrong choices.
When the responses of youth are observed, usually they perform both sadness and happiness at its peak, in an extreme level than its used to be normally. Again, the significance with this point is the shortsightedness of youth, which usually causes enormous depressions. Teenagers do not have the capability of predicting how incidents can last, weather as wanted or not, as the nature of being young.
