ViolenceEssay Preview: ViolenceReport this essayIn todays day and period, violence almost seems like a way of life. Being aggressive is the way to solve a problem, and the only way to make someone listen is to yell louder than them. Today it is alright to show a cold blooded murder on television or in a film.

People enjoy seeing animated characters kill each other and have graphic sex. Violence is everywhere and is almost impossible to escape. It gets even more difficult to keep it out of your life.

Violence always involves disputes. To achieve peace we must prevent war. War today is what many think is the solution to resolve human heated type of discussions. There is no war or violence without an argument. To stop war we must improve the horrible results we get in these conflicts.

They say that with the army here to protect us from harm, it will bring about social change. Historical campaigns for justice, and uncontrollable tactics were the key to political success. Only by protecting nonviolent control, it can then hold the moral view and win political support for social change.

Nonviolence as a method for confrontations has a long history that comes before the examples from someone such as Martin Luther King Jr. As Martin Luther King Jr. stated, it is not the choice between nonviolence and violence, it is the choice between nonviolence and non-existence, some disagree with nonviolent methods the way to solve any problem.

“It must be emphasized that nonviolentresistance is not a method for cowards;it does resist. If one uses thismethod because he is afraid or merelybecause he lacks the instruments ofviolence, he is not truly nonviolent. This is why Gandhi often said that ifcowardice is the only alternative toviolence, it is better to fight.(King)”Violence in many ways takes place in government. With the war with Iraq, the government is the one to blame because they see war as our only chance to stop terror. Violence can be done through deception, power, or threats of domination.

Many often say Terrorism is caused by low education and poverty. In most cases terrorism is less like property crime and more of a violent type of political arrangement. For these types of events to occur, it would depend on someone with high education in order to carry out these plans that they can come up with.

Terrorism was an inactive issue in the media until the attacks on the United States. The structured use of violence to target the nation for political purposes is one of the most effective ways to gain attention. Several assaults such as the September 11, 2001 attack on the United States have made headlines.
