Buy Chinese or Pay More
Nearly every product being sold in the United States comes from China, who is also a partner and customer of U.S. However, few Chinese manufacturers have their abilities or interest to market and distribute their own products. These U.S. customers play major role throughout the products lifecycle. They specify the design and requirements for the product, and select, manage and oversee the development with their Chinese partners.
Then they import, inspect and distribute the products under their brand names. These companies include Apple, Sony, Mattel, GE, HP, Palm, and virtually every consumer company you can think of. When a defective product reaches the market, its usually because the U.S. company let it happen, failing to perform adequate inspection and testing or not doing a sufficient job selecting and managing their suppliers.
Foreign companies always get what they have ordered and paid for. Occasionally there are problems, but no more than elsewhere. People have to stop with the obsession about Made in China labels because they’re everywhere on the market. There’s nothing wrong with merchandise made in China, as illustrated by the fact that foreigners continue to buy ‘made in China’ goods.
