Invisible Fencing is a safe cost effective way for homeowners to contain their pet(s) while in the comfort of their yard. Invisible Fencing (IF) is installed by placing an underground wire bordering the area you wish to have your pet utilize. The wire is looped and connected to a transmitter box placed in a convenient location such as a garage. The installation process is relatively easy and only takes a short amount of time depending on the area to be wired.
Once installed, the pet is fitted with a battery operated collar worn when in the area of containment. The installer will assist you in training your dog to be aware of his boundaries. The goal of the training is to teach the dog to understand his boundaries and know when to retreat. The collar will emit a small beeping sound when approaching the fence and if ignored the dog will receive a correction. After the initial training session, the owner will be given a handbook to guide them in assisting their pet know his limitations.
