Observations from Winter Survival Test
From the winter survival test results, it was obvious that the group results were stronger. This is due to the limited knowledge and experience each individual has as compared to a group.

Intuitions & Team Creativity
Individuals tend to make more intuitive based decisions according to their own logic (Dawson, R 1993). Therefore it is important for a team to work towards an agreed objective which can liberate the creativity of the team members. (Billington, J, 2004).
Evaluating Alternatives
Considering the results of the project, two different objectives amongst the team were observed. One side of the team prioritized on the search for civilization whereas the other set their priorities on staying put and attempt to survive and allow the injured passengers to recuperate before proceeding to get out of the wilderness.
Priorities in Team Decision Making
The difference in priorities naturally affects one’s decision making. This could be reflected from the items chosen. The team which intends to stay put will choose items that are more focused on conserving energy. It was observed that members, who prioritize on moving, felt that canvas was not necessary as it adds on to weight and is inconvenient to lug around. For the remaining team, they felt that the canvas was a very useful item as it can protect one from the cold and snow.

Consensus
The team analyzes the scenario from different point of views in order to reach a consensus on a common priority. Our team member, Yanting had a lower score as compared to the rest.

She had a common objective to that of the experts, which was to stay and attempt to survive rather than proceeding to the nearest town. Being the minority of the group, she was able to put across and explain the reasons for her decision.
