Anorexia Case
Anorexia nervosa is a serious, occasionally chronic, and potentially life-threatening eating disorder defined by a refusal to maintain minimal body weight. To prevent weight gain people with anorexia nervosa will not eat, make themselves throw up, or even workout excessively. Adolescents and young women account for 90 percent of eating disorder cases. Eating disorders can also affect men. Anorexia really isn’t about food; it is a way for people to cope with emotional problems. Throughout my research I will focus on college kids who struggle with anorexia on a daily basis. College students with anorexia may take extreme measures to avoid eating. I found that 40% of college women have an eating disorder, and 90% of college women have tried to lose weight through working out and dieting. Eating disorders usually don’t go away on there own. Not treating them can have serious consequences. I will argue the fact that why can’t students be happy with who they are, and not go on these crazy eating disorders to please themselves.

For my research paper I will indulge on arguing the fact that anorexia is a disorder that needs to come to an end. By doing this I will argue the statistics that many men and women go through on a daily basis. The percentages I found while collecting my sources of women and men dealing with anorexia are mind blowing. Also while collecting my sources, I found many blogs and interviews from college students who are suffering with anorexia. Proving how anorexia is a very serious matter, I will use the statistics that I found throughout my sources.

I hope to implement my sources throughout my research paper effectively. I will use my reputable sources to show many facts and statistics I found. By using my reputable sources I hope for one to understand anorexia and how it can play a huge role on one’s family. With my journal articles I will implement many physical and mental factors that go along with being anorexic,
