Numerous individuals and corporations support the concept of technology to improve learning for children. Technology makes learning easier and faster through programs, email sharing, virtual learning and interactive learning with outside media. Supporters of the One Laptop per Child program, donate their time and money to help supply these laptops to developing countries. Individuals who donate believe that children in developing countries deserve the opportunity to learn with the technology that they are not provided with on an everyday basis. Businesses and corporations, who are able to donate and supply these laptops to children, donate or manufacture the laptops for the foundation. Companies such as Intel, manufacture these laptops to stream to the developing countries who participate in this program. Although, Intel is making a profit off each laptop bought and distributed, it also inquires a good reputation for helping children in need. If companies follow the footsteps of Intel, then laptops will easily be manufactured to the developing countries. Parents of these children believe that the laptop will give their child the opportunity to learn in such an aspect that settles with the rest of the world. Therefore, parents are huge supporters of this program. Educators, who support the One Laptop per Child Foundation, are ecstatic to have such advanced technology for their students. Bringing a laptop to class can make learning easier in that children will learn to type, watch virtual experiments online and media, and share what they learn with other students via social networking. Since the laptop comes equipped with internet access, locating a router would not be a problem for classrooms.
