File Sharing= Piracy?
Years ago I used to buy music albums all the time, I even remember having two racks (120 each) full with CDs until I found out from a friend that he did not buy music albums anymore.

After that, I dont remember when the last time I bought a CD was; it did not make any sense for me to pay when it was there free.
The music industry is doing everything possible to stop this madness, from suing regular people to big Sharing file software companies.
Lately, The Recording Industry Association of America and the Motion Picture Association of America are sending a six-page brochure this week to Fortune 1000 corporations with suggested policies including a sample memo to workers warning them against using company computers to download songs and movies.

I even thought about buying music albums again, but after the music industry promised to cut the prices for the albums and it never happened, then I decided not to buy music anymore.

Obviously, this was a move for the music industry trying to get people back reducing the prices, but instead they started the lawsuits and then they never reduced the prices.

Why do they have to make billions of dollars every year and now because they are losing
some of that money, we have to trust them and buy whatever price they imposed?
File sharing is one of the original applications of the internet, preceding even email. FTP evolved as a common standard for file sharing and is still used to this day. Having said that, when people use the term file sharing they are usually referring to the exchange of files over peer-to-peer file sharing networks. www.webopedia.com

For me it is a thin line between sharing and illegal downloading
